New Year's Resolutions

I had fun doing this page, I used my new slice! Thanks Debra! This year I am sticking to my new years resolutions!!!!

Picnik.com

My friend kelly told me about picnik.com, and I'm hooked!!!! It is really easy to use and tons of fun! my profile picture was done using the site. And you'll definitely see my pages having some "work done" on them.

Sisterly Love

The christmas gift I made for my sister. I hope she likes it!!!!

Christmas

Right now I'm working on a collage for my sister molly. I'm only able to talk about it bc I don't think she looks at my blog. Her room is in pastel blue and yellow so I'm using that as a starting point. I'm really excited about doing this project!!! Wish me luck!

Toy box or Bath tub

Riley is ALWAYS throwing his toys into the tub and I wanted to always remember it. At first I was going to just put a picture on the outside of the tub but my friend and I kept looking at it and decided that we liked it this way best.

Riley is my Rocket

trying to watch his toons

I made slits in the pictures and then ran the ribbons through it three times. I liked the ribbon as a border for a change. The ribbons is not as bright as the picture shows so it ties in a lot better. I also didn't want to have the photos over lap so I cut a triangle off of both corners so they would match up. The tags in the back were randomly placed before I put the pictures down that way it looked more random then planned.

It's always time to play (clock)

I have seen this idea for retirees but I wanted it to fit in with play time. Next time I'm making one for scrapbooking. Maybe even a "There's NO time for whining!" haha

Kelly and Me

I made the flower out of another page that I liked. and used a sticker in the middle of it and ribbon for a stem .

Gideon's club house

I wanted to have the picture of Gideon in his "club house" framed so I drew bricks. What do you think?

so very you

I saw this idea in a book. And I thought it was cool how the pictures looked behind the ripped frame.

Hold me Mom

It was so sweet how Riley just wanted to be held when he was sick, so I wanted to keep this page simple to focus more on him.

soft & sweet feet

my belly , my canvas

Mirror Mirror in my hand

I love this picture of my son because he just sat there and stared at himself for the longest time. I wonder what he was thinking.
I used tin foil in the center of the circles to give them a mirror look.

Happy and Handsome

I used an overlay on this page but put embellishments on top and underneath it to have it look more layered. I also put tear-drop bubbles over each letter of "handsome" because to me the letters did not stand out enough. The pictures to the right are made to look like he is looking at the words "happy and handsome". Let me know what you think.

These feet are made for Walking

My son started walking on his own when his friend was over. It was kind of like "if he can do it, so can I" type of deal. And since then he has not stopped moving!
I used paint behind his pictures to break it up a bit. And the words between the pictures are from a label maker. The other words I traced onto a different sheet of paper, I then outlined them to have each letter stand out more.

Riley+Toys= Tub

Riley has this new obsession with throwing his toys and whatever else he can get his hands on in the tub, it's like his own little toy chest. So over the next week I'm going to be taking pictures of whatever he decides to throw into the tub to make a page out of it. So far he has gotten fairly creative on what he wants to hide in there. THIS SHOULD BE INTERESTING!

100% boy

Riley climbed up his Hippo walker to get Corey's food after he had just ate his own dinner (and it was all over, thus the reason for no shirt). I photo edited the pictures so that Riley was the only one in color, I liked it better that way.

Me

I needed to create a page about me, so this is what I came up with. Words that describe me and a warm design. I glued beads along the edge of my picture and used a few different rub-ons to make the design on the right stand out. I hope it shows my style.

A copied idea

I really like the idea of this page. I saw it in a magazine and wanted to try it out myself. I even used a posted note for the yellow heart.

Baby 2 Boy

I wanted to show how much my little man is really growing up. I put Riley's picture of him being a week old in black and white and the one of him recently in color for effect. I traced chipboard letter on paper that I liked better and cut out the words "baby" and "boy".

Riley-in-the-box

Riley had so much fun plying in this cardboard box. I used brown paper and made it look like a box and put his picture in the center. The pictures say it all!

September 1, 2006

The day that My husband and I were married was an interesting day. We were in Security Forces training for the Air Force. Earlier in the day we were covered head to toe in camo, along with warrior paint all over any skin that showed (including my red hair). Corey was carrying the M-249 (which is a machine gun) and I was carrying the M-203 (the grenade launcher). We both took all of a 10 minute shower to get it all off and headed to the courthouse with only 5 minutes before the closed. The next day we said our wedding vows to each other, wearing a wedding dress and he was wearing a suit. We said our vows in the middle of the river (on rocks). The same river that he purposed to me at.

1 of-a-kind

I used orange paint and made orange circles all over the page. I also took masking tape and stuck it to the photo repeatedly to to give it the effect shown. The smaller picture is a photo transfer using tape once again.

My Husband

I couldn't decide on just one word to describe him... and there were so many more that I wanted to add.

Giggle

Things I Love About You & Me

I started out by taking sand paper to the photo to create a border. Then I sanded the chipboard letter to have it all match. The text was created using Microsoft Word, I just used different fonts for the words; you, me, us and we. Then I ripped the paper to give a messy -warn look. What do you think?

Happily Ever After

I wanted to keep this page fairly simple because the page itself was too beautiful to cover up with too many embellishments. I used black rub-ons with rhinestones as an embellishment. The "H" is chipboard letter with sliver glitter. The words are foam sticker letters, except for the word "ever".

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

The girls and I went out for Stephanie's birthday and before Kaydee and Stephanie went back to the states for a while . We had a lot of fun being goofy and taking pictures. The photo strip on the right side was created to look like a photo booth photo strip. When we were taking the picture, each time that it was taken somebody didn't like it so we had to try again. We had a lot of fun that night. I made the first letter of each word with chipboard and silver glitter glue. The rest of the word is made out of blue vinyl letters. I also added a rub-on design, paper flowers and tags for embellishments.

Having A Ball

The kids during our girls day were having so much fun in the balls that I couldn't help but scrap it! This one I wanted to keep it simple to focus more on the pictures of the kids in the balls and how happy they were.

Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink was made for ACBaileyDesigns supply parties. I just signed up to be a Scrapbook consultant and with supplies from the company I made this page. The pink page already had the flowers made of holes. But to give the page something more, I made the other half of the paper into a flower to match the other flowers. The photo of my friends daughter was in color originally but I edited it so that the photo was black and white except for her pink sunglasses. Then I added paper flowers as an embellishment. The words "pretty in" I traced chipboard letters and then cut them out. The word "pretty" is chipboard that I used pink glitter glue on top of the letters.
