A copied idea

I really like the idea of this page. I saw it in a magazine and wanted to try it out myself. I even used a posted note for the yellow heart.

Baby 2 Boy

I wanted to show how much my little man is really growing up. I put Riley's picture of him being a week old in black and white and the one of him recently in color for effect. I traced chipboard letter on paper that I liked better and cut out the words "baby" and "boy".

Riley-in-the-box

Riley had so much fun plying in this cardboard box. I used brown paper and made it look like a box and put his picture in the center. The pictures say it all!

September 1, 2006

The day that My husband and I were married was an interesting day. We were in Security Forces training for the Air Force. Earlier in the day we were covered head to toe in camo, along with warrior paint all over any skin that showed (including my red hair). Corey was carrying the M-249 (which is a machine gun) and I was carrying the M-203 (the grenade launcher). We both took all of a 10 minute shower to get it all off and headed to the courthouse with only 5 minutes before the closed. The next day we said our wedding vows to each other, wearing a wedding dress and he was wearing a suit. We said our vows in the middle of the river (on rocks). The same river that he purposed to me at.

1 of-a-kind

I used orange paint and made orange circles all over the page. I also took masking tape and stuck it to the photo repeatedly to to give it the effect shown. The smaller picture is a photo transfer using tape once again.

My Husband

I couldn't decide on just one word to describe him... and there were so many more that I wanted to add.

Giggle

Things I Love About You & Me

I started out by taking sand paper to the photo to create a border. Then I sanded the chipboard letter to have it all match. The text was created using Microsoft Word, I just used different fonts for the words; you, me, us and we. Then I ripped the paper to give a messy -warn look. What do you think?

Happily Ever After

I wanted to keep this page fairly simple because the page itself was too beautiful to cover up with too many embellishments. I used black rub-ons with rhinestones as an embellishment. The "H" is chipboard letter with sliver glitter. The words are foam sticker letters, except for the word "ever".

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

The girls and I went out for Stephanie's birthday and before Kaydee and Stephanie went back to the states for a while . We had a lot of fun being goofy and taking pictures. The photo strip on the right side was created to look like a photo booth photo strip. When we were taking the picture, each time that it was taken somebody didn't like it so we had to try again. We had a lot of fun that night. I made the first letter of each word with chipboard and silver glitter glue. The rest of the word is made out of blue vinyl letters. I also added a rub-on design, paper flowers and tags for embellishments.
